Haversham Revisited
Set in the 1960s in an ultra-modern teashop in the English country town of Haversham, where three unmarried ladies of forty return for a nostalgia trip. They had been stationed there with the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) in the early 1940s during World War II. For one, Joanna, meeting the now married middle-aged owner of the teashop, whom she remembered romantically as a handsome Army lieutenant at that time, reminds her that the old days are best left in the past.
