Once Upon A Playground
A gang of tomboys on a playground cruelly reject a 'Girl with a funny nose.' because she is 'different.' But amidst their realistic games and comic 'tomboy talk,' each member of the gang expresses her own inner fears of 'being different.' and in the end, the 'Girl with the funny nose' discovers a boy like herself, and he offers friendship, hope and illusion. This theatrical comedy portrays the cruelty of youth as a 'total theatre' experience, blending realism with such pure theatrical devices as stylized movement, choral chants and expressionism.
