Super speed reader Rita Prose joins a team of interns for the coveted superhero team, the Super Duper Squad. But she doesn t fit in with the other aspiring superheroes, all of whom have more traditional superpowers like speed, flight, and strength. Granted, all the interns are still developing their talents as they iron capes, answer fan mail, and make coffee, but they look forward to someday becoming a sidekick and maybe even a superhero!

But when the dastardly Dr. Disaster uses the Snooze-O-Matic 3000 to incapacitate Captain Stupendous and sidekick Beam Queen and steal the Aurora Diamond, it s up to the super interns to get involved. Rita and super intern Invincible Bulk (who prefers to be called Gabe) learn that the theft of the famous jewel is part of the supervillain s plan for world domination. Will the super interns be able to save the day... and the world?!
