Murder Game
It s 1949, and nine guests are invited for a weekend of mystery at Bolivino Manor, set on a rocky coastal cliff. Just as the game contenders are settling in, a stranger appears, claiming his car went off the road during the raging storm. Rather than being turned away, the stranger is invited to stay and become the tenth player. The manor s caretakers, serving as the hosts, explain the rules, and the games begin. Within the course of the evening, however, three guests die. But are they really dead? The game players don t have a clue. After all, the butler had told the players the first rule of Murder Game: Believe nothing you see or hear. Unless what you see and hear is true. And the second rule? Don t ignore the first rule.
As bodies pile up, the remaining guests begin to question everything, including their own hopes of survival. Is Murder Game really a game... or are the murders real?
Mature student actors and community theaters will love this highly engaging, suspenseful, and fun tribute to the famous board game and clsssic murder mysteries that have entertained us for decades.
