Two slippery characters are pulling the wool over folks eyes in the kingdom of Pie-in-the-Sky. These swindlers are peddling everything from pumpkins that don t transform into carriages to plexiglass forgeries of Cinderella s glass slipper. The Fraud Squad Detective Andersen and Detective Grimm, Chief Charming, and Deputy Tom Thumb are hot on their trail, and it looks like the criminals are heading to Castle City, where the emperor s coronation is about to take place. What flimflam scheme could these two be up to now?

Turns out, vain Emperor Neon is seeking a new royal tailor to create a coronation cloak in a color never before seen. Flim and Flam jump on the moneymaking opportunity, posing as designers who can create a neon mirage cloak that s so magical its color can only be seen by people who are intelligent, noble, and worthy. Everyone else just sees an ordinary, white garment. (No long johns or modesty concerns in this play!)

You know how the story goes, but you don t know how this one ends! In this delightful adaptation with a role for everyone, the flimflam artists don t get away with their deceit... thanks to the hard work of the Fraud Squad! Dun-dun.
