This humorous retelling of A Christmas Carol brings a trio of spectral visitors to haunt the student director of the Dickensville High School drama club s Holiday Extravaganza. Ebby Scrobbins is the most ill-tempered and perfectionistic president of the drama club in school history. Her tyrannical tantrums have turned what should be a festive and fun production into a Noel nightmare! When the entire cast and crew walk out of the final dress rehearsal and leave her alone in the theatre, no ghost light can spare Ebby of visits from three familiar yet unique spirits the Ghost of Dress Rehearsals Past, the Ghost of Opening Night, and the Ghost of Productions Yet to Come.

Not only will Ebby s timely change of heart delight your audience, so too will this creatively designed holiday play with room for a few dance numbers, a Christmas carol or two, and an entire cast of characters that can be played by any gender. The show even lends itself, like the drama club s Holiday Extravaganza, to spreading joy in the community as a fundraiser for a local food bank.
