Ashes, Ashes, All Fall Down
Suggested by the rock concert in Cincinnati at which several young people lost their lives, this exciting, dynamic drama examines the lives of six youths who are killed by the crush of a large crowd awaiting a similar sold-out concert. It also deals with four other people who are attempting to discover the reasons for the deaths. Despite its serious nature, the play is alive with humour and hope as it pursues such contemporary themes as hero worship, estranged relationships and the need for 'family'. (The five songs which have been written as background music for the play are available on a tape which also includes the sound effects and may be rented, or the music may be performed by a small rock combo.)
