Sam Shovel, Private Eye
It s a hot and sultry day in the gritty city, and Sam Shovel has a dead man sprawled in her office, stabbed in the back with a yardstick. Ends up this is just the first of a string of murders happening in the fashion industry. Though no one would ever think of Sam having anything to do with high fashion, it s up to the private eye to find the connecting thread and sew up the case. Whether staged as an old-time radio show or recorded for a listening audience, this 1940s detective noir parody will leave your audiences in stitches! The script also fabricates four funny commercials for products of the 1940s.
