It s the 1980s, and there s only one place you re sure to find the cool (and not-so-cool) kids on a Saturday afternoon: the mall.

That s where geeky Elwood fawns over the queen bee of the glams, Chanel, in between role-playing with his nerdy friends, Fletcher and Stevie. Elwood s dream of a date with the popular girl actually becomes a possibility when he learns that Chanel will go with any guy who can take her to see her favorite band, the Lipsticks. The problem is, tickets are sold out, and Elwood s friends are eager to get back to their D&D game! Besides, why would Chanel ever go out with a nerd like him?
